At ShoreMOPS, we've been kicking off 2015 with a focus on R&R, living intentionally, and being fearlessly passionate. If you missed MOPS recently, we missed YOU, and hope you mark your calendars and fend off all sicknesses so you can come back soon! A MOPS graduate, Lauren of The Bee Well , provided relaxing hand massages. In early January, our ladies were blessed with a morning of pampering and yoga thanks to The Bee Well wellness boutique in Linwood. Weeks later, we dodged the snowflakes to meet and discuss the challenges we face and how to act intentionally in order to produce a positive outcome. Last week, ShoreMOPS coordinator Heather Marshall challenged us to analyze our hearts this Valentines Day. Are there fears or control issues that prevent you from being passionate with your husband or that keep you from bonding with your children? It's time to fully embrace your role as a wife or mother and express love with words AND actions. Misty, from our leadership team, instructed us on how to make a framed layout and use a dry-erase marker to write messages expressing our appreciation and affection for those special people God has placed in our lives. Becca, also no stranger to MOPS, led our group in The Om Team-style yoga. ShoreMOPS Christmas Tea

At our Christmas Tea, we set things up a bit differently. We introduced our new PLATES AND FLATWARE - an upgrade from the paper and plastic we've been using, plus they are more cost effective and less wasteful.

We also printed out cards as a reminder of how special every mother is, and how intentionally God has designed each one of us. (pictured above)



At our breakfast tables, every place setting included a Chapstick® wrapped up in paper like an old-fashioned piece of taffy, and with it was a message about having the courage to TELL YOUR STORY. (pictured on right)

Monday, wear your comfiest clothes and leave your kids in jammies! At MOPS we're celebrating a day of REST! Come ready to get some needed relaxation! View this email in your browser MOPS Christmas Breakfast Community Christmas Dinner - This outreach event, hosted by our Events Coordinator Halley Martinez, was a reality again this year thanks to her commitment and to the generosity and servanthood of many others. more info On Dec. 15th we gathered together to celebrate the GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD - at our annual Christmas Tea! We enjoyed a fabulous breakfast provided by Brownies Squared and our focus was set on having the Courage to Tell Your Story. Donna Chambers, the lead pastor's wife at Shore Fellowship Church, blessed us with an amazing presentation that inspired and provoked our hearts to be braver! To be confident in our uniqueness, to be determined to rest and honor the sabbath, and to accept ourselves as God created us in EVERY stage of our lives. A mom of three young men, she gave us some laughs and left us with hope. We were treated to story time of our own as Donna read from Max Lucado's book You Are Special.  Insecurity is a thief and it will rob you of the destiny God has for you! ~Donna Chambers Get ready for some very exciting MOPS meetings!! We have a Pajama Party on Monday, January 12th, so be brave to REST AND UNWIND!! On January 26th, we will be braving the world of being INTENTIONAL!! And just in time for Valentine's Day, we will explore being PASSIONATE!! Don't miss what's in store for you. See you there!
